As well as providing milk for her family, including her six children, the cow also gives her milk to sell to earn some extra income for her family."I sell up to 16 litres of milk a day... I believe that my children have the prospect of a bright future because I manage to send them to school because of the money that I earn from selling milk", Maureen says.

Devon Air Ambulance Trust
The Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charitable trust which raises money to fund the emergency helicopter ambulance covering the county of Devon.
Every year in excess of £1.4 million needs to be raised in order to keep the service airborne. This sum is raised through payroll giving, membership schemes (weekly draw and general membership), fundraising events such as parachute jumps, coffee mornings etc.

Essex Air Ambulance
The Essex Air Ambulance Fund was set up to raise money to keep the ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE flying. Annually funds exceeding £1 million are required to keep the helicopter operational and available to continue saving lives throughout the country. Payroll Giving is one of many means used to raise funds.

National Coastwatch Institution
Our mission is to assist in the protection and preservation of life at sea and along the UK coastline by offering a voluntary visual and audio professional watch keeping service, during daylight hours, from specially equipped lookout stations in England and Wales. All at no cost to the public.Accidents will always happen but wherever there is an NCI station. “Eyes along the Coast” will be looking out for danger. The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) operates, via a central office, an ever increasing number of Lookout Stations (45 at present) around the UK coastline from the North East round to the North West employing some 1784 volunteers in total. No member of the NCI receives any payment.

It provides search and rescue all around the coast of the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and a beach lifeguard service in the south west of England. Our 40,000 volunteers are committed to training, caring and saving lives, helping around 150,000 casualties annually. We're also one of the country's largest youth organisations with more than half of our members aged under 25.
Our volunteers provide first aid at high profile national as well as local events and provide support to the emergency services in times of need.
